GATEway Classes Years 5 and 6
Academically gifted students in the Junior School are specifically catered for with a range of rigorous extension programmes. Identifying students who would benefit from these programmes is an ongoing process which spans the period of their enrolment at Macarthur.

It provides a fast-paced differentiated curriculum, where students develop a greater depth of knowledge and apply abstract reasoning skills to complex issues. GATEway Macarthur aims to provide an intellectually stimulating learning environment which challenges and inspires students and fosters their love of learning.
As a Christian school, Macarthur endeavours to care for all students and challenges them to achieve to their potential. Students accepted into GATEway Macarthur are expected to be actively involved in the wider life of the school, using their abilities for the benefit of others
