Macarthur Family Chapel
The Macarthur Family Chapel aims to bring the Church to members of the School community who may otherwise have little contact with a church. Many members of this 150 strong congregation are from school families. The Chaplain, Reverend Steven Davis, is available to visit members of the congregation and the School community if required.
Sunday Service
A family-focussed service is held each Sunday at 9.30am. The service is contemporary in style and includes a children's talk. Bub's Club, Sunday School and a youth programme operate during the sermon, allowing all those attending to hear God's word presented in a relevant, age-appropriate manner. The vision of the Macarthur Family Chapel is to grow a vibrant, life-changing family church, whose people know God and make Him known. Sunday services seek to support this goal by presenting a Christ-centred message which aims to encourage the application of Biblical principles to everyday life.
A well-stocked Bookstall is available at the Sunday service.Like the School, the Macarthur Family Chapel congregation have strong links to Anglican missionary organisations such as the Church Mission Society, Bush Church Aid and Anglicare.
Children's Ministry
In addition to the weekly children's ministry, the Chapel congregation, supported by members of the Macarthur staff and students from the OASIS group conduct an annual Holiday Club during the July holidays. During the Holiday Club, hundreds of Macarthur Infants School and Junior School children enjoy the opportunity to play games, listen to stories and enjoy craft activities.
Home Fellowship Groups
Home Bible Study groups are available to members of the Macarthur Chapel congregation and others interested in learning more about God's Word. These groups meet each week in a number of venues in the area.
