12 October, 2009
Six Macarthur students participated with distinction in the Australian Interschools Snowsports at Falls Creek in Victoria from the 10-13 September 2009. To compete in this tournament teams were placed in the top five and individuals in the top ten in their State competition.
There was plenty of good snow for the students to race and show their abilities. All students had a great time participating and I would like to thank the parents for their contributions to making this event such a success. Particular thanks to Mr. Mark Byers for his time and effort both in preparing skis and boards and his assistance on course before and after races.
Special congratulations must go to Edward Cosier (Year 11) for finishing fourth in Snowboard Giant Slalom and ninth in Snowboard Cross in this national competition.
