Scholarships @ Macarthur
Each year Macarthur offers a number of Academic and Music scholarships to students entering Year 7, Year 9 and Year 11 in the following calendar year. These are awarded on merit, based on the results of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Co-operative Scholarship Testing Programme. This testing is held in April or May each year.
As well as the Scholarship Examination results, the Headmaster will consider supporting material such as school reports, Basic Skills test results, results from statewide or national competitions and other relevant information. Candidates will be asked to supply a portfolio of information for consideration after registering for the scholarship examination.
Scholarships are awarded at various levels of discount in tuition fees. There are nominated scholarships of fixed amounts and scholarships that are means-tested.
