Macarthur Anglican School has been built upon the generosity of others. Current Macarthur Anglican School students benefit directly from the financial gifts others have made in the past. Such philanthropic giving has been central throughout the School's history.

Investing in the Future of Macarthur

Building a strong community of supporters enables our children to experience the benefits of a Macarthur education. This support assists us to strive for constant advancement and improvement into the future, which will benefit the whole community.

Macarthur has three tax deductible funds available to donors:

Building Fund

The Building Fund provides for the ongoing capital works planned for Macarthur.  It is this fund that ensures that our students are able to learn in state-of-the-art facilities.



We welcome your participation in our Annual Giving 2009 appeal and present to you a number of exciting projects for your consideration.

Library Fund

Ensuring that students have access to current resources is the role of the Library Fund.  It is from this fund that new developments in Library infrastructure and growth and enhancement of the Library collection take place.

Scholarship Fund

Donations to the Scholarship Fund allow the School to offer support in the form of scholarships and bursaries to children wishing to enter Macarthur.

Appeals

Various fundraising appeals will be conducted through the School community to encourage contributions to these funds.  These include:

Headmaster's Breakfasts

Commencing in Summer Term, 2009 the Headmaster  will conduct regular meetings with families over breakfast. These informal events will provide an ideal forum for parents to learn about and discuss the Headmaster's Vision for the future of Macarthur.

Annual Giving

From 2009 an Annual Appeal will be launched.  Members of the community will be invited to contribute to specific projects through this programme.  Details of the 2009 Annual Appeal will be distributed in May, 2009.

Building the Macarthur Community

The Macarthur Anglican School Community Business Directory

The Community Business Directory provides an ideal opportunity for those members of our school community who are business owners and operators to network and advertise within the school community. It provides a way by which we can 'support those who support us'. We also welcome advertisers from the broader local community who wish to advertise to our school community. 2010 Community Business Directory Information Pack will be available in June 2009.

Volunteers

We are generously supported by a wealth of parents volunteers in all kind of ways from working in the school canteen, covering books in the Library, assisting in classrooms, on excursions and during the examination periods.

Corporate Relations

The School is currently developing an exciting new policy regarding the relationship between Macarthur and the local business community. Further details will be available shortly.
