Getting to School

Most students travel to and from school by bus each day, on services provided by Busways, Busabout, Picton Coaches or on a bus service operated by the School.

Students wishing to travel on Busways, Busabout and Picton Coaches service must apply for a bus pass. Application Forms are available from Mrs Karen Alchin  in the Administration Centre. Mrs Alchin is also able to provide advice about which bus service provides the most direct transport to Macarthur.

Macarthur Buses

Macarthur operates three school bus services. These services travel to the following locations and timetables for these services are provided below.

When arriving at the School, all buses pull into the bus bays provided on Lone Pine Drive and students are able to make their way safely to their classrooms from the bus bays.

Travel by Private Vehicle

Families may choose to drive their children to school. It is essential that private vehicles entering the Cobbitty Campus follow the speed and direction signs in place. A parking area is provided adjacent to the Infants School and Junior School and Kiss and Drop zones are located outside the Chapel and on the left hand side of the Junior School Parking area. Vehicles are not to park in this area.

Parents wishing to park and walk their children to the classrooms must park in the marked parking spaces. Please use the pedestrian crossing when escorting children across the car park and ensure that they hold your hand and look carefully before stepping onto the roadway.

Parents are reminded to drive with care in the car park.
