The Junior School Facilities

The Junior School at Macarthur caters for students from Transition to Year 4. The Transition and Kindergarten area is defined by a fence and has dedicated toilets for the youngest students. The play area for Year 1 to Year 4 is more expansive and open, with the major play space fenced. Again, dedicated toilets and a Junior Canteen are central to all students.

Classrooms are set out in Year level configuration with a central learning ‘pod’ between each classroom, allowing for collaborative work. The images below give a sense of the current learning and playground spaces.

The Headmaster recently announced that the next exciting building phase on the School's campus will commence in January 2023 and will be a refurbishment and extension to some of the current Junior School buildings, predominantly the Year 1 to Year 4 classrooms.
