Commenced December 2023- completed in July 2024
The commencement of building works for the Music Centre followed the completion of the Junior School precinct and commenced in December 2023. Now that this building is complete, it has realised a total campus development of just over $30 million since 2022.
Building works commenced immediately after the term finished in December, and was completed in July 2024. This project involved demolishing the older Music demountable building and replacing it with two new Music classrooms and six peripatetic Music rooms, and the finished section includes three additional spaces. The older permanent Music classroom was renovated and blended into the new section as part of the works.
The Music Project also included two new entrances, one from the Chapel Courtyard and the other from a new set of stairs and a landscaped Music Courtyard in the area between the new build and the Moroney Staff Centre.
The School was delighted to partner again with Mayoh Architects and Vernon Constructions for this project.
